Removing ( Refitting ) - Open the bonnet.1. Disconnect the negative terminal (1a) from the battery loosening the bolt (1b).

1. Remove the power supply casing cover (1). 1. Loosen the nut for the positive battery terminal. 1. Undo the nut (1a) and move the battery retaining belt (1b).2. Remove the battery. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the battery is not damaged.- Place the battery in its housing.- Position the retaining belt on the battery and tighten the nut.

2. Fasten the positive battery terminal using the nut.

- Place the supply box cover in position.1. Fit the terminal on the battery pole and press it down fully.

Exert a slight pulling force to check that the terminal is correctly attached.

- Close the bonnet.- Test the operation of the electrical system.
