WARNINGS

Follow these precautions when working on the tailgate assembly:

• When working on the hinges, take care not to damage the paintwork.
• Following an adjustment operation that required the hinges to be moved, the tailgate must be removed and the hinge area repainted.
• Work carefully on the trim details and use the recommended tools correctly to prevent damage.

PRECAUTIONS

Before working on the electrical system (connectors, electrical components, wiring, etc.) turn the ignition key to STOP and disconnect the battery.
