Follow the recommended safety instructions (see 5010 - Precautions).

- Position the vehicle on the lift. Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R. - Raise the vehicle.1. Connect a pipe for draining the coolant to the intake (2) in the lower part of the radiator.2. Undo the plastic bolt and collect the coolant in a suitable container.

- Release the pipe from any securing bands.1. Undo the quick fitting (1a) on the heater input. Raise spring (1b) and remove pipe (1c), recovering the fluid.

1. Loosen the band.2. Disconnect the pipe from the connector on the engine.- Release the pipe and keep it.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the pipe is undamaged and is not affected by cracks that affect the seal.- Fit the pipe on the engine side connector and tighten the band.- Position the pipe and secure it correctly.- Insert the clip in closed position and connect the quick fitting to the radiator inlet.- Close the screw plug and keep the coolant drainage pipe.
