Removing ( Refitting )     Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

1. Detach the fuel pressure sensor electrical connection.

1. Disconnect the pipe from the injectors to the fuel manifold, single fuel manifold pipe side.2. Undo bolts (2a) and move pipe carrier duct (2b) as necessary.3. Unscrew connectors (3a) and remove pipes from fuel manifold to injectors (3b).

Use new pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors when refitting.

1. Undo connectors (1a) and remove pipe from pressure pump to fuel manifold (1b).

Use a new pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold when refitting.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump, pressure pump side. 1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove single fuel manifold pipe (1b) complete with fuel pressure sensor (1c) and fuel pressure regulator (1d). Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the single fuel manifold pipe complete with fuel pressure regulator and fuel pressure sensor back in its housing, then tighten it using the bolts.- Connect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump, pressure pump side and tighten the band.- Place a new pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold in its housing and secure it using the connectors without tightening them.- Tighten the connector for the pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold, pump side, to the recommended torque using a spanner.

- Tighten the connector for the pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold, fuel manifold side, to the recommended torque using a commercial wrench.

- Fit new pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors and secure with connectors without tightening.- Tighten the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors, injector side, to the recommended torque using an appropriate commercial wrench.

- Tighten the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the fuel manifold side injectors to the recommended torque using an appropriate commercial wrench.

Clean the threaded pipe seats on the manifold and injectors with heptane.

- Refit the pipe carrier duct and secure it using the bolts.- Connect the pipe from the injectors to the fuel manifold, single fuel manifold pipe side.- Connect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure sensor.- Connect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.    Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.
