323001580 - 1032C10 TIMING SYSTEM MOVING TENSIONER - R.R WITH TIMING BELT/CHAIN REMOVED

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove mobile timing belt tensioner (1b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Use a suitable tool (e.g. vice) to set the moving tensioner and hold it fully back with a retaining pin.

If a new moving timing belt tensioner is fitted, this is supplied by the Parts Dept, already set and held fully back with a pin.

- Position the moving timing belt tensioner in its housing and secure it by tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

Once the timing chain has been fitted, remove the moving tensioner pin and check that the moving tensioner piston is in contact with the pad.
