323002030 - 0010T12 ENGINE OIL AND FILTER - REPLACE

Engine oil is harmful to skin: keep contact with skin to a minimum and if there is contact wash with soap and water.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.1. Remove the filler cap with the engine hot.2. Withdraw the engine oil dipstick. 1. Unscrew the drain plug in the crankcase sump and leave the oil to drain completely into a suitable container.

Be very careful when removing the drain plug, the oil could be very hot.

Do not let the oil disperse into the environment as indiscriminate dispersion of this product causes pollution.

- Undo the bolts and remove the upper protection for the cartridge engine oil filter.1. Unscrew cartridge engine oil filter cover (1a) complete with o-ring (1b) and remove it.2. Withdraw and remove the cartridge engine oil filter. - Clean the drain plug and tighten it, along with the gasket, to the recommended torque.

- Place a new cartridge engine oil filter in its housing.- Place the cartridge engine oil filter cover complete with new O-rings in its housing and tighten it.- Refill the engine lubrication circuit with the recommended oil.

The table shows the quantity for periodic replacement.

- Check that the engine oil level is correct using the dipstick.

The oil level is checked with the vehicle on a flat surface.

- Fit the filler cap, let the engine idle for about 2 minutes, switch off the engine and then wait for several minutes.- Check the oil level and make sure there are no leaks.

Proceed with the renewal operations using the Examiner.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
