323002053 - 1004D10 POWER UNIT (MANUAL GEARBOX), REMOVED, DISMANTLE AND REASSEMBLE

- If the engine is being separated from the gearbox for the subsequent overhauling of the engine, follow the instructions given below.1. Remove the plug (1a) and replace it with the tool (1b) on the exhaust side camshaft.
Fit the tool, positioning it with the millings horizontal and checking that it is correctly inserted in the camshaft housing.

2. Fit a suitable (6 mm diameter) peg via the special opening in the gearbox, then remove it.
Check that the pin is correctly inserted in the housing in the flywheel.
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and the nut (1b), then separate the manual gearbox and differential (1c) from the engine.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the clutch mechanism (2b).3. Remove the clutch plate.
- Place the clutch plate and the clutch mechanism in their housing using the tool for centering.- Tighten the new bolts securing the clutch mechanism to the recommended torque.

- Remove the clutch plate and clutch mechanism centering tool.- Remove the flywheel lock.- Connect the manual gearbox and differential to the engine and secure it tightening the bolts and the nut to the recommended torque.
