The relay T11, located in the junction unit under the dashboard B002, manages the switching on of the defrosting resistances for the heated rear windscreen P055 (connector A) and the driver''s side P060 and passenger side P061 exterior rear view mirrors, from pins 15 and 31 of connector C, via the lines protected by fuses F40 and F41 of B002.The coil for relay T11 is supplied by the ignition-controlled line excluded during starting (INT/A) and is energized by an earth signal coming from the Body Computer M001. This signal is sent according to the control logic described previously and if the heated rear windscreen engagement control (earth signal) supplied by pin 17 of the switch in the centre control panel H090 is present at pin 32 of connector A of M001. The reference earth reaches pin 5 of H090 from pin 36 of connector A of M001 via a dedicated line.On versions with AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING it is also possible to activate the engagement of the heated rear windscreen (MAX-DEF function) from the climate control system control unit M070 (pins 1 and 2) via the signal, sent on the CAN, to the Body Computer M001 (pins 35 and 36 of connector D). See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES With the defrosting switched on, the Body Computer M001 (pin 21 of connector A) sends a positive signal to turn on the LED in the heated rear windscreen on button (pin 8 of H090).The Body Computer receives a power supply from the battery, via the line protected by fuse F1 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001. It also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) from the ignition switch H001. The reference earth reaches pins 10 and 19 of connector A of M001.
