FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The function is managed by the Bluetooth control unit M162.The control unit M162 receives a power supply, at pin 16, directly from the battery via the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B001 (pin 8 of connector E).The control unit M162 receives an ignition-controlled supply (INT), at pin 32, via the line for fuse F51 of B002 (pin 13 of connector E).Pin 15 of M162 is earthed. The Bluetooth control unit M162 (pins 14 and 30) is connected, via the CAN, to the radio P020 (pins A3 and A1 of connector A), to the Body Computer M001 (pins 5 and 17 of connector E of B002), to the instrument panel E050 (pins 5 and 6) and to the other system nodes. The control unit M162 is connected, via pins 5, 22 and 21, with the radio P020 (pins 1, 2 and 3 of connector C) to manage the signals for the reproduction of the contents for the multimedia player function: AUX left, AUX right and AUX earth signals respectively. The Media Player USB socket P143 is connected to the Bluetooth control unit M162 (pins 3, 4, 19, 20 and 31) respectively, with signals: signal D+, reference earth, signal D-, 5V power supply and shielding. If the system does not have a USB interface, the connection between the Bluetooth control unit and the radio receiver node P020 takes place via pins 7, 8 and 9 of connector D of P020 and pins 7, 23 and 25 of M162. The audio+, audio- and MUTE signals are sent to be able to use the vehicle audio system speakers for voice messages and hands-free communication. The hands-free microphone P026, located near the front courtesy light, is connected to pin 8 of M162, whilst pin 24 is prepared for the cable screening. The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via the clock spring D047. Specifically:- at pin 6 of D047 the reference earth signal from pin 85 of connector A of M001 is received via the dedicated line;- the signal is sent, from pin 4 of D047, for the MUTE/ESC,WINDOWS logo, VOL+ and VOL- controls (located to the left of the steering wheel) to pin 15 of connector A of M001;- the signal is sent, from pin 3 of D047, for the SOURCE/OK, TEL/MAIN, SCAN+ and SCAN- controls (located to the right of the steering wheel) to pin 27 of connector A of M001.The lighting for the controls on the steering wheel (pin 5 of d047) is supplied by the ignition-controlled line INT protected by fuse F49 of the junction unit B002.The Body Computer receives a power supply from the battery, via the line protected by fuse F1 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001. It also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) from the ignition switch H001. The reference earth reaches pins 10 and 19 of connector A of M001.
