When working on the compartment covers, follow these precautions:

• When working on the hinges, take care not to damage the paintwork.
• After an adjustment that has involved moving the hinges, the paintwork in the hinge area must be renewed.
• Work carefully on the trim details and use the recommended tools correctly to prevent damage.

PRECAUTIONS

Before working on the electrical system (connectors, electrical components, wiring, etc.) turn the ignition key to STOP and disconnect the battery.Always move the covers with the help of an assistant.
