Removing ( Refitting ) - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.    Op. 7040L22 REAR COVER ON TUNNEL - R.R.1. Loosen the handbrake lever cable adjustment nut.2. Disconnect the cables from the keeper. - Partly prise up the handbrake lever protection.1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the handbrake switch.

2. Undo bolts (2a) and remove handbrake lever (2b). 1. Prise up and remove protection (1a) and switch (1b) from the handbrake lever. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit the protection and switch on the handbrake lever.- Place the handbrake lever in its housing and secure it by tightening the nuts to the recommended torque.
