The engine management control unit warning light stays on. The vehicle protection warning light goes on and off.

If the vehicle protection warning light goes off, this means that the communication between both control units has been successful.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Connect the diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments).Check for errors saved in the control unit.	Move on to Step 2	Error detected in the control unit.	Continue following the instructions given by the diagnostic equipment.
2	CORRECT OPERATION CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
