323000815 - K073 SEAT BELT UNFASTENED WARNING LIGHT ON

The warning light remains on even when the driver''s seat belt is fastened.

The seat belt not fastened warning light is turned on by a command sent via the B-CAN from the "Air Bag Node" to the Body Computer. The latter sends the signal, via the B-CAN, to the Instrument Panel Node.

1	SWITCH CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the correct operation of the seat belt not fastened warning light switch.	Move on to Step 2	Switch not working.	Replace the lower branch of the belt    Op. 7065A14 ANCHORAGE ROD FOR , (ONE), FRONT SEAT BELT LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Connect the diagnostic instrument and check for faults in the AIRBAG NODE.	Move on to Step 3	1. Air bag control unit defective2. Presence of faults.	1. Replace the Air Bag control unit    Op. 5580C14 AIR BAG ECU - R+R 2. Proseguire come indicato dallo strumento di diagnosi.
3	ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	With the Examiner in Instrument Panel Node mode check that the seat belt unfastened warning light is correctly activated in Active Diagnosis.	End of diagnosis.	The seat belt warning light does not come on.	Replace the Instrument Panel    Op. 5560B10 CONTROL PANEL - R+R
