Neither of the main beam headlamps works under any condition.

The main beam headlamps are controlled by the Steering Wheel Controls Node, managed by the Body Computer Node and activated by the Engine Compartment Junction Unit.

The lights can be switched on/off using the following controls:1.Specific command (from the Exterior Lights Control on the steering column)2.Command from the dusk sensor3. Follow me home command

	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment and check whether the following parameters are present and that there are no errors in the Body Computer mode.	Move on to Step 3	1. Impossible to connect to the control unit.2. Presence of errors.	1. Replace the Body Computer control unit after having acertained it is defective.2. Continue as instructed by the diagnostic equipment.
3	ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	With the Examiner in the Body Computer mode check that the function in question is correctly activated in Active Diagnosis.- Left/right main beam headlamps control.	End of diagnosis.	1. Impossible to activate one of the main beam headlamps. Because of a blown lightbulb.2. Impossible to activate one of the main beam headlamps. Because of interrupted wiring.	1. Replace the defective bulb.2. Restore correct wiring.
4	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Using the Examiner, check that the light control stalk is working correctly.- Dipped/main beam headlamps control.	End of diagnosis.	1. Steering column switch unit defective.2. Engine compartment junction unit defective.	1. Replace the steering column switch unit Op. 5550A10 STALK UNIT ASSEMBLY - R+R 2. Move on to Step 5
5	ENGINE COMPARTMENT CONTROL UNIT ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the electrical circuit for the Engine Compartment Control Unit, in the following order:- Protective/supply fuse(s);- Wiring between Body Computer and Engine Compartment control unit;- Check the continuity of the engine compartment control unit [EL_2011] See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS	Move on to Step 6	1. Protective fuse/s blown.2. Wiring defective.3. Engine compartment junction unit faulty.	1. Replace the component involved (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).2.
