Removing ( Refitting )

If the throttle body is replaced, run the following self-learning procedure:- with the engine switched off, turn the ignition key to MAR without pressing the accelerator pedal and with the engine temperature between 5.25°C and 100.5°C for 29 seconds.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.     Op. 1048B25 INTERMEDIATE RIGID PIPE BETWEEN HEAT EXCHANGER AND THROTTLE BODY - R R    Op. 1048B30 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM RIGID PIPE TO THROTTLE BODY - REPLACE    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R 1. Detach the electrical connection for the throttle body.

2. Undo bolts (2a) and remove throttle body (2b).- Remove the O-ring from the intake chamber. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit a new O-Ring on the intake chamber.- Place the throttle body back in its housing and tighten the bolts.- Connect the electrical connection for the throttle body.     Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R     Op. 1048B30 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM RIGID PIPE TO THROTTLE BODY - REPLACE    Op. 1048B25 INTERMEDIATE RIGID PIPE BETWEEN HEAT EXCHANGER AND THROTTLE BODY - R R    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Remove the vehicle from the lift.
