- Position the vehicle on a lift.1. Undo the nut from the collar securing the silencer.2. Undo exhaust silencer (2a) from flexible mountings (2b).- Remove the exhaust silencer from the vehicle.
Refitting

- Place the new rear exhaust silencer in its housing and secure to the flexible mountings.- Join the rear exhaust silencer to the central exhaust pipe using the metal band supplied by the Parts Dept.- Tighten the metal band nut.- Tighten the bolt securing the rear exhaust silencer mounting bracket.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
