Engage the reverse gear- Connect a voltmeter with the positive probe at pin 1 and the negative probe to earth and check that there is a positive voltage of 12 VMove on to Step 2. | - Restore the wiring between the parking sensor control unit and the sensor concerned.- Replace the parking sensor control unit. | 2 | EARTH CHECK- Connect the voltmeter with the red probe at pin 3 and the positive probe to earth, and check that the voltage is between 0 and 1 Volt.- Move on to Step 3. | - Restore the interrupted wiring between the control unit and the sensor concerned.- Replace the parking sensor control unit. | 3 | ULTRASONIC SIGNAL CHECK- Turn the key on.- Connect the voltmeter with the positive probe to pin 2 and the negative probe to earth.- Press the START button on the Examiner.The figures in the image that appears must be evaluated with a tolerance of about 20%. They should in any case be similar to the graph in the diagram. | - Replace the faulty sensor(s).- Replace the parking sensor control unit.
