323002760 - 1064BA TURBOCHARGING PRESSURE CHECK
Check the supercharging pressure. Fit the excess pressure sensor on tool N° 1871003500 and secure it using the bolt.Connect the electrical connection to the pressure relief sensor.Connect the EX09 tool from box N° 1806338000 to tool N° 1871003500 and connect the connector N° 2000017500 (as can be seen in Fig. 1).FIG. 1Connect the 5 bar pressure transducer EX06 to the tool and connect it to the Examiner card using cable EX01.Position the Examiner diagnostic equipment in the passenger compartment and make the connections.Select pressure gauge on the Examiner and prepare to download data in intake pressure mode with a 2000 mmHg full scale deflection value and selection time of 10 seconds.Road test the vehicle (respecting the speed limits in force) as follows:On an out of town route with 3rd gear engagedInitiate the acquistion by pressing start on the diagnostic equipment and 5 seconds later fully depress the accelerator pedal until the engine speed is 4500 rpm.Once this speed is reached, completely release the accelerator pedal.Display the resulting graph and read a value of 1900 and 2000 mbar for the maximum peak (1444 - 1520 mmHg) corresponding to a supercharging value of 900 and 1000 mbar.Disconnect the Examiner and the pressure transducer.Detach the electrical connection for the pressure relief sensor.Unscrew the bolt and remove the excess pressure sensor from the tool.Remove the tool for checking the turbocharging pressure.Refit the excess pressure sensor Op. 1056B44 AIR PRESSURE SENSOR - R + R
