| 1 | With the engine cold, carry out a check on the calibration of the excess pressure valve proceeding as follows:- Remove the sound insulation cover on the engine.- Remove the heat shield cover on the turbine- Disconnect the connecting pipe (1) with the supercharging pressure adjustment solenoid valve from the valve- Fit tool n.° 2000024800 (3) on the waste gate valve rod- Fit a dial gauge so that it can touch the end of the tool- Set the dial gauge to zero.- Connect the vacuum pump n.° 2000015500 (2) to the excess pressure valve- Introduce a pressure of 0.295±0.015 bar using the pump and check on the dial gauge that the rod travel corresponds to 2 ±0.1 mm- Discharge the pressure and starting from zero, introduce a pressure of 0.330±0.015 bar using the pump and check on the dial gauge that the rod travel corresponds to 4 ±0.1 mm.Discharge the pressure and restore the operation of the turbocharger. | Replace the turbocharger Op. 1064A27 TURBOCHARGER UNIT AND EXHAUST MANIFOLD - R.R. |
