ENGINE OIL LUBRICATION SYSTEM

The lubrication system is equipped with an integrated oil filter system known as a green filter.The device is fitted on the oil pump mounting and comprises:- a support containing an oil filter cartridge sealed by a plastic cap;- a heat exchanger.
The heat exchanger is only handled by the Parts Dept. together with the support containing the oil filter cartridge.

ENGINE OIL PUMP

The engine oil is drawn in by the sump by means of the vacuum created by the rotation of the gears on the crankshaft.There is a vacuum from the partition (2) for the gears as far as the oil sump suction head.Pressure builds up in all engine oil supply ducts (4) starting from separation partition (2).When the pressure exceeds 6 bar +/- 0.3, the force exerted on the restrictor valve (5) overcomes the reaction of the spring underneath and moves the valve until the connecting duct between the pressure chamber (3) and the low pressure chamber (1) opens limiting the value of the pressure in the circuit.
