Before removing and refitting the pretensioners, observe the specified safety regulations.

Remove the moulding (1a) using the special tool, releasing the retainers (1b) and (1c).

2. Unscrew bolt (2a) and move the end (2b) of the front seat belt from the seat.

1. Release retainer (1a) from the body, moving terminal (1b) in the arrowed direction.2. Release retainer (1a) from seat belt (2a).3. Undo the bolts (3a) and move the idler mount (3b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection.

2. Undo the bolt.3. Remove the seat belt with pretensioner (3a), releasing retainer (3b) from the body.

Refit the pretensioner in the special cupboard resting it on a free surface.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the seat belt with pretensioner is not damaged.1. Place the pretensioner (1a) in position and attach the retainer (1b) to the body.2. Tighten the bolt to the recommended torque.

Do not use percussion screwdrivers

3. Connect the electrical connection.

1. Position the idler mount (1a) and tighten bolt (1b) to the recommended torque.

- Attach the retainer to the belt, then to the body.

1. Position the end of the front seat belt (1a) on the front seat and screw in the bolt (1b), then tighten to the recommended torque.

2. Position seat belt panel (2a) and do up retainers (2b).
