Op. 1076A48 CATALYTIC CONVERTER HEAT SHIELD - R.R Op. 1076B74 FRONT EXHAUST SILENCER WITH FLEXIBLE SECTION - R.R.1. Undo the bolts securing the catalytic converter mounting bracket.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the upper Lambda sensor.

2. Undo nuts (2a) and remove catalytic converter (2b).- Keep the gasket, check the condition of the studs and replace them if necessary.

1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove catalytic converter mounting bracket (1b).2. Undo and remove the Lambda sensor.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Position the Lambda sensor in its housing and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Fit the catalytic converter mounting bracket in place and tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Place the catalytic converter in position complete with new gasket and tighten the new nuts.- Connect the electrical connection for the upper Lambda sensor.- Tighten the bolts securing the catalytic converter mounting bracket.
