Removing ( Refitting )
Follow the recommended safety instructions.    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS
- Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER     Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) from the compressor (1c).
Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.
1. Undo the bolt and disconnect the pipes from the condenser.- Release the pipe retaining bands.2. Remove the pipe.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the pipe from the compressor to the condenser is not damaged and that there are no cracks that could compromise the seal.
Replace the O-rings on the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.
- Place the pipe from the condenser to the compressor in position.- Connect the pipe retaining bands.- Connect the pipes to the condenser and tighten the fixing bolt.1. Connect the connector (1a) to the compressor (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque.
