- Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Undo the bolt securing exhaust pipe mount to the oil sump.2. Undo the lambda sensor.3. Undo the nuts and disconnect the exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter.- Keep the gasket.
1. Loosen the nut from the coupling collar.- Release the exhaust pipe flexible mountings from the fastenings to the body and suspension crossmember.2. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the rear silencer and remove it.
Refitting

- Connect the exhaust pipe to the rear silencer.- Attach the exhaust pipe flexible mountings to the fastenings to body and suspension crossmember.- Screw on the coupling collar nut.- Position the gaskets and connect the exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter, then tighten the nuts to the recommended torque.- TIghten the lambda sensor to the recommended torque.- Screw in the bolt securing the exhaust pipe mount to the oil sump to the recommended torque. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Remove the vehicle from the lift.
