) - Position the vehicle on the lift.- Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then open the boot, remove the cover on the left hand side and disconnect the negative battery lead. See in Op. 7040D50 ENGINE COMPARTMENT UPPER SOUND INSULATION SHIELD - R.R.1. Release the bands connecting the fuel vapour recovery solenoid valve to the inlet and outlet pipes (1a) and (1b).2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel vapour recovery solenoid valve.

3. Remove the flexible support from the bracket, then release the fuel vapour recovery solenoid valve.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Fit the fuel vapour recovery solenoid valve on the flexible support, then attach it to the bracket.- Connect the electrical connection for the fuel vapour recovery solenoid valve.

- Connect the inlet and outlet pipes fastening them using the bands. See in Op. 7040D50 ENGINE COMPARTMENT UPPER SOUND INSULATION SHIELD - R.R.- Connect the negative battery terminal, then close the boot.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
