) - Position the vehicle on a lift. See in Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD under engine - R.R.1. Undo the nuts fixing the catalytic preconverter to the centre section of the exhaust pipe.2. Undo the bolts (2a) fixing the centre section to the catalytic converter (2b).3. Release the pins (3a) from the pipe rubber mountings (3b).4. Remove the centre section of the exhaust pipe, saving the gaskets underneath.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Secure the pins to the rubber mountings.- Position the catalytic converter gasket.- Tighten the bolts fixing the catalytic converter to the centre section of the exhaust pipe.
