The negative activation signal for the side lights arrives from the outside lights control unit H092 via pin 4 of connector A at the body computer M001 pin 28 connector C when switched to POS.Once the activation signal is received, the body computer M001 manages the operating logic for the front and rear side lights and the no. plate light. The latter also receive a direct supply from the luggage compartment junction unit B045 because they are equipped with a control unit which controls the voltage/current for working at operating temperature. The "side lights on" warning light inside instrument E050 is supplied simultaneously. The display shows the failure of the side lights and the possible activation and duration of the follow-me-home function with the signals transmitted from the body computer M001 via the B-CAN lines. It is possible to set the follow-me-home function using the info-telematic control unit M065. This signal is transmitted from the B-CAN lines A and B to pins 1 and 3 of connector A. The control unit is supplied by the line protected by fuse F39 inside the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The instrument panel receives a supply controlled by the ignition and a direct supply. These lines are protected by fuses F37 and F53 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002, respectively. Pins 8 and 9 of connector E of the body computer are earthed. The no. plate lights unit F050 and F051 receive the implementation ignal from pin 9 of connector F and pin 38 of connector G, respectively of the body computer M001.The control unit inside the left rear light cluster F031 communicates with the one in the right rear light cluster F030 at pins 7 and 8, respectively and transmits any failure signal to the body computer M001 at pin 6 of connector A.The front light clusters F010 and F011 receive the implementation signal from pins 40 and 30 of connector B, respectively; for the rear light clusters F030 and F031 it comes from pins 5 and 6 of connector F of the body computer M001.The body computer M001 receives a supply controlled by the ignition and a direct supply at pins 11 of connector H and pin A of connector B, respectively for the junction unit under the dashboard B002.
