The Driver's Door Node is an electronic control unit integrated in the electric windows control panel in the driver's door.

OPERATION

The Driver's Door Node carries out the following functions:

• Memorizing of 3 driver's seat, steering column and mirror positions [F067]
• Timed lighting of interior handles [F074]
• Courtesy lights management [F089]
• Management of doors/boot and fuel flap locking/unlocking [F092]
• Management of front electric windows [F104]
• Management of rear electric windows [F105]
• Inhibition from driver's seat of rear window movement [F107]
• Electric exterior mirrors [F119]
• Deactivation of mirror folding above 40 km/h [F121]
• Timed management of defrosting [F126]
• Outside temperature management [F192]
• Management of courtesy light in exterior mirrors [F221]
• Folding exterior mirrors [F222]
• Electric child-proof locks [F263]
• Electronic safety knob [F264]
• Electric door/boot opening [F301]
• Dead-lock engagement/release [F312]

In addition it:

• receives and transmits information on the B-CAN line (e.g.: diagnosis, warnings, commands, data)
• integrates the window opening commands for the four doors, the inhibition command for the rear windows and the command to engage the child safety locks for the rear doors,
• it connects with the driver's front door wiring.
