167782 - K108 DISPLAY OF FAULT CODES ON MATRIX - ENGINE STARTS

The matrix shows a CODE fault message; the engine starts normally;

the IMMO code and IMMO code response request messages are sent normally via C.CAN line to from the Engine Control Node and the Body Computer Node. A serial line known as the W line is used if the C-CAN network fails.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the CAN: no control unit not activated; that there are no faulty control units; no control unit with faulty CAN line;	Move on to Step	1. Presence of faults	1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
			2. Faults on Body Computer Node	Move on to Step
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic connector, check the following at the Body Computer Node in error environment no errors on W serial line.	Move on to Step	Fault on W line	Move on to Step
3	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the condition of the W line between the body computer node and the engine control node (Wiring Diagram ) E7010 LANCIA CODE	Move on to Step	W line interrupted or S.C.	Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E7010 LANCIA CODE
4	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
