Connect the pressure transducer to the tool.Position the Examiner / Examiner Plus diagnostic equipment in the passenger compartment and make the connections.Select "pressure gauge" on the Examiner / Examiner Plus and prepare for the acquisition of data in "intake pressure" mode with a 2000 mmHg end of scale and selection time of 10 seconds.Road test the vehicle (sticking to the speed limits in force) as follows:On a motorway route, let the vehicle reach 2000 rpm in 4th gear.Initiate the acquistion by pressing start on the diagnostic equipment and 2 seconds later fully depress the accelerator pedal until the engine speed is 3500 rpm.Once this speed is reached completely release the accelerator pedal.Display the resulting graph and in the pressure constant section, with the exception of the initial peak, the reading should be 1900 - 2100 mbar (1444 - 1596 mmHg) corresponding to a supercharging value of 900 - 1100 mbar.On a motorway route, let the vehicle reach 2000 rpm in 4th gear.Initiate the acquistion by pressing start on the diagnostic equipment and 2 seconds later fully depress the accelerator pedal until the engine speed is 3500 rpm.Once this speed is reached completely release the accelerator pedal.Display the resulting graph and in the pressure constant section, with the exception of the initial peak, the reading should be 1900 - 2100 mbar (1444 - 1596 mmHg) corresponding to a supercharging value of 900 - 1100 mbar.
