Visually inspect that during starting (ignition key in AVV position) the turbocharger actuator connecting rod (turbine stator vanes adjustment device) moves by around 10 mm in the direction of the actuator.CHECK USING THE EXAMINERWith the engine switched off, connect connector EX09 and transducer EX06 in the section of pipe between the actuator and the solenoid valve.Select intake pressure measuring gauge in the instrument ambient.Start up the engine and let it idle, then wait until pressure pressure stabilizes.The reading should be between 250 and 350 mmHg (2400 Stage 3 engines).The graphic acquisition of the pressure trend can be carried out by selecting either the 2000 or 4000 mmHg scale.
