the number plate lights are switched on directly by the Body Computer Node when the Side Lights on or Parking Lights (four lights) on signals are received.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node: that there are no faults	Move on to Step	No. plate lights short circuitd to earth or open circuit	Move on to Step
2	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the condition of the bulbs. Check the continuity and the insulation of the wiring between the intermediate connection and the number plate lights connector Check the continuity and the insulation of the wiring between the Body Computer Node and the intermediate connection (Wiring Diagram ) E2010 SIDE LIGHTS/NUMBER PLATE LIGHT	Move on to Step	1. Bulbs burnt out	1. Replace the bulbs
			2. Connection between intermdiate connection and no. plate lights connector broken	2. Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E2010 SIDE LIGHTS/NUMBER PLATE LIGHT
