358475 - I39 DIRECTION INDICATORS NOT WORKING WHEN THE HAZARD WARNING LIGHT BUTTON IS PRESSED

The direction indicators do not come on when the hazard warning lights button is pressed;
The direction indicators are controlled and diagnosed (lights check function) directly by the Body Computer Node.If there is a fault with the direction indicators confirmed by the Body Computer Node, the fault is displayed on the matrix that can be reconfigured.
STEPOPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUTTEST RESULTS
1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT. ALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Connect the diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node:

  • the plausibiilty of the alarm (hazard) on/off parameter

  • Check the continuity of the wiring between the hazard warning lights button and the Body Computer Node.
  • Check the continuity between the hazard warning lights button and the dashboard earth
  • Check that there is a positive controlled by the ignition (Wiring Diagram ) E2020 DIRECTION INDICATORS/HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS
