72517 - I21 REAR FOG LAMPS NOT WORKING

One of the two main beam headlamps is not working or is working irregularly;
The rear fog lamps are controlled and diagnosed directly by the Body Computer Node.Any fault detected by the Body Computer Node is displayed on the reconfigurable matrix.
STEPOPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUTTEST RESULTS
1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT.ALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node:

  • that there are no faults at the rear fog lamps
  • the operation of the rear fog lamps
  • the plausibility of the Rear Fog Lamps On/Off parameter.
Move on to Step 1. Error at the rear fog lamps1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2. The lights do not come onMove on to Step
3.The rear fog lamps on/off parameter does not alterMove on to Step

3ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK.ALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check the continuity of the electrical wiring between the exterior lights control and the Body Computer Node. Move on to Step Connection brokenRestore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E2031 REAR FOGLAMPS
