Removing ( Refitting ) - Open the boot and disconnect the negative battery terminal.    See in Op. 5580P24 CONNECT CONTROL UNIT SUPPORT - R.R.-

it is advisable to place the gear engagement control lever as far back as possible to prevent it interfering with the procedure operations.

1. Acting on the side retaining clips, release the connect control unit from the mounting bracket and extract it2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2a), (2b), (2c) and (2d).

3. Remove the connect system. Refitting ( Removing ) - Connect the electrical connectors for the info-telematic control unit.

if the connect system control unit has to be replaced, the new component must be subjected to the Proxi initialization procedure using the diagnostic equipment (Examiner).

- Fit the connect system control unit in the special housing until the retaining springs can be heard fastening.    See in Op. 5580P24 CONNECT CONTROL UNIT SUPPORT - R.R.-- Connect the negative battery terminal.- Check that the Connect control unit is working properly.
