841003105 - E1010 POWER SUPPLY OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

Operational Description

All electrical systems and circuits are supplied by battery A001.The main supply lines are protected by the maxifuse box on battery B099 that contains fuses labelled according to the circuits protected:

  • CVM: engine compartment junction unit supply
  • CPL1: underfacia junction unit supply;
  • CPL2: underfacia junction unit supply;
  • CVB: load compartment junction unit supply
Other circuits are supplied by turning the ignition key H001 to various positions:

  • in MAR position, numerous protected ignition-operated circuits are supplied (INT and 15/54): pin 2 connector B and pin 1 connector A;
  • AVV starter motor is supplied; (line "50"), relay R20 to inhibit start-up of engine bay junction unitB001, steering lock control unit M089 responsible for releasing the steering    See E5010 STARTING AND RECHARING
  • in PARK position, side lights (POS and STAZ line) are supplied from the Exterior Lighting Control Unit H092.
Boot control unit M063 controls the automatic battery disconnection device function.It receives as input a signal from inertia switch I050, which cuts out the circuit and thus stops dangerous fuel outflows, and forwards it to the battery disconnection switch from pins 33 and 34 of connector F respectively.A switch on the fuse box B099 cuts off the supply of all circuits.
