841005424 - E7010 LANCIA CODE OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

Operational Description

The CODE unit inside the Body Computer M001 is supplied by the line from the battery (+30) at pin 18 of connector H and from the line controlled by the ignition (INT) at pin 9.The aerial for the CODE P091 (located near the ignition switch H001) is connected to the Body Computer M001 (pins 4 and 5 of connector A) for the recognition of the key.The information protocol between the engine management control unit M010 and the Body Computer M001 is managed (depending on the conditions described above) as follows:

  • by default at the C-CAN, via pins 9 and 10 of connector A of control unit M010 and at pins 32 and 33 of connector B of the Body Computer;
  • or at the serial line W through the connection between pin 11 of connector A of the engine management control unit and pin 29 of connector B of M001.
The recovery procedure managed by the engine management control unit M010 through the diagnostic equipment is enabled by pins 48 and 59 of connector A; whilst the procedure managed through the accelerator pedal K055 is enabled by pins 76, 77, 78, 79, 80 and 81 of connector A.    See E8010 DIAGNOSTIC MULTIPLE CONNECTORThe electronic injection/EOBD failure warning light (also valid for the CODE failure) inside the instrument panel E050 (pin 10 of connector B) is connected to the engine management control unit M010 (pin 21 of connector A).The engine management control unit M010 is supplied, at pins 8 and 58 of connector A, by the line from the battery protected by fuse F18 and by the line controlled by the ignition (15/54) protected by fuse F16, both housed in the engine compartment junction unit B001.
