Operational Description

The radio is incorporated in the info-telematic control unit M065 which is supplied directly (pin 7, connector D) by the battery via the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The control unit receives and transmits B-CAN signals at pins 1 and 3 of connector D, communicating with the Body Computer M001 and the other control units installed on the vehicle. The radio receives the inputs transmitted to pins 3 and 4 of the control unit on the steering wheel M093, via B-CAN signals, with the supply controlled by the ignition (INT) at pin 1 of the line protected by fuse F049 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002. The contact takes place via the clock spring D047.Pin 5 of connector D of the info-telematic control unit M065 transmits the go ahead for the supply of the aerial amplifier in the rearscreen P025. The pre-amplifier signals, destined for the Bose audio amplifier P070, are transmitted from connector B, in particular:

  • pin 1: pre-amplified output for the right rear speaker positive;
  • pin 2: pre-amplified output for the right rear speaker negative;
  • pin 3: pre-amplified output for the right front speaker positive;
  • pin 4: pre-amplified output for the right front speaker negative;
  • pin 5: pre-amplified output for the left front speaker positive;
  • pin 6: pre-amplified output for the left front speaker negative;
  • pin 7: pre-amplified output for the left rear speaker positive;
  • pin 8: pre-amplified output for the left rear speaker negative;
The Bose amplifier P070 is supplied directly by the battery, at pin 26, by the line protected by fuse F54 of the luggage compartment junction unit B045. It also receives the Bose audio with DSP system amplifier recognition signal at pin 7 from the info-telematic control unit M065.The following shielded cables destined for the speakers leave the Bose amplifier:

  • pins 16 and 24 to the centre front speaker P032;
  • pins 11 and 19 to the rear speakers in the rear parcel shelf P088 and P089;
  • pin 13 and 21 of the speakers in the left front door P035 and P045
  • pins 14 and 22 of the speakers in the right front door P035 and P045
  • pins 23 and 15 of the speakers in the left rear door P040 and P047
  • pins 25 and 17 of the speakers in the right rear door P041 and P048
The Cd Changer module P075 is supplied directly at pin 15 by the info-telematic control unit M065 which also operates the following: The following cables leave the info-telematic control unit M065, connector C:

  • pin 13: reception serial line from the Cd changer;
  • pin 14: transmission serial line to the Cd changer;
  • pin 15: supply (+30) to the Cd changer;
  • pin 16: Cd changer supply go ahead
  • pin 17: Gnd for the Cd changer;
  • pin 18: Cd changer audio reference;
  • pin 19: Cd changer left audio;
  • pin 20: Cd changer right audio;
The roof cotrol unit M062 is also supplied, at pin 10, connector B, by the line protected by fuse F039 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002. The inputs from the microphone installed inside the control unit which transmit the voice commands to the info-telematic control unit M065 (pins 17 and 16 of connector A) leave from pins 19 and 9.
