Removing ( Refitting ) - Open the boot and disconnect the negative battery terminal.1. Detach the trim (1a) located under the ashtray (press fit). 1. Open the ashtray (1a) and undo the bolts (1b) fixing it to the dashboard. Close the ashtray and extract it disconnecting the cigar lighter connector and releasing the courtesy light bulb.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and release the climate control system control unit (1b) from its housing. 1. Disconnect the electrical connections (1a) and detach the control unit (1b).

Refitting ( Removing ) - Connect the electrical connections for the control unit and fasten it in place using the bolt.- Connect the electrical connection and the ashtray light bulb (closed), then open the ashtray and secure it using the bolts.- Position the trim under the ashtray which is a press fit.    See in Op. 5540A20 Exterior lights SWITCH PANEL and instrument panel light dimmer - R.R.- Connect the negative battery terminal.
