163450 - A35 TILT SENSOR ALARM NOT WORKING

The tilt sensors are located on the roof node and are connected to the Body Computer Node via the A-BUS dialogue line. The tilt sensor is operated and controlled by the Body Computer Node via a series of encrypted messages and can be excluded by the customer using the special button.In the case of a failure the Body Computer Node detects and memorizes the causes of the malfunction.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node:In parameters ambient the presence of the tilt sensor In errors ambient that there are no problems relating to the tilt sensor	Move on to Step	1. Tilt sensor faulty	1. Replace the sensor module integrated in the courtesy light
			2. Tilt sensor not present	2. Check the conformity of the vehicle
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node:In active diagnosis ambient the operation of the tilt module	Move on to Step	The tilt sensor is not working	Replace body computer     See in Op. 5505A32 BODY COMPUTER - R.R.
