358457 - I27 REAR FOG LAMP (ONE) NOT WORKING

One of the two rear fog lamps remains constantly on or off;

The rear fog lamps are controlled and diagnosed directly by the Body Computer Node.Any fault detected by the Body Computer Node is displayed on the reconfigurable matrix.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node: that there are no faults at the rear fog lamps	Move on to Step	Error at the rear fog lamps	Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2	REAR FOG LAMP BULB CONDITION CHECK.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the condition of the rear fog lamp bulb	Move on to Step	Bulb burnt out	Replace the rear fog lamp bulb     See in Op. 5540E14 Left or right fog light BULB (one) - R.R.
3	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the continuity of the electrical connection between the rear fog lamp and the Body Computer Node (Wiring Diagram ) E2031 REAR FOGLAMPS	Move on to Step	Connection broken	Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E2031 REAR FOGLAMPS
4	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
