361958 - K80 AIR BAG FAILURE WARNING LIGHT ON

With the ignition on, the Air Bag warning light remains on;

the Air Bag warning light switches off by means of a direct command from the Air Bag control unit.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector check the following at the Air Bag control unit:in errors ambient that there are no faults	Move on to Step	Presence of faults	Continue following the instructions in the diagnostic table
2	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present		Fault persists	Replace the Air Bag control unit    See in Op. 5580C14 air bag ecu - r+r
