The Headlamp Alignment Fault message is displayed by means of a direct command between the Headlamp Alignment control unit and the Instrument Panel Node

STEP	OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT	TEST RESULTS
1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the headlamp alignment control unit:in errors ambient that there are no faults	Move on to Step	1. Presence of faults	1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
			2. Fault present in the warning light	Move on to Step
2	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the electrical connection (continuity/insulation to earth) between the Headlamp Alignment Control unit and the Instrument Panel Node (Wiring Diagram ) E4010 INSTRUMENT PANEL	Move on to Step	Cable earthed/broken	Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E4010 INSTRUMENT PANEL
3	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present		Fault persists	Replace instrument panel    See in Op. 5560B11 ANALOGUE CONTROL PANEL - R.R. or Replace
