368011 - J46 LEFT DOOR MIRROR DOES NOT FOLD IN OPEN/CLOSED POSITION

the external rear view mirrors are controlled directly by the Door Nodes according to information received from the joystick on the left front door handle.The mirror folding information for the Driver's Door Node is direct, the information for the Passenger Door Node is made available by the Driver's Door Noed via the B-CAN.

	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connect and check the following at the Driver's Door Node: In errors ambient that there are no faults In active diagnosis ambient the operation of the mirror folding motor	Move on to Step	1. Presence of faults	1. Continue following the instructions in the diagnostic table
			2. Mirror folding motor not working	Move on to Step
2	ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Remove the door panel and check the continuity between the electric mirror connector and the Driver's Door Node the presence of a positive control at the mirror folding selector (Wiring Diagram ) E3032 EXTERIOR MIRRORS ADJUSTMENT	Move on to Step	1. Electrical connection faulty	1. Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E3032 EXTERIOR MIRRORS ADJUSTMENT
			2. No positive control	2. Replace the Driver's Door Node
3	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
