Undo the retaining bolts.2. remove the power assisted steering pulley.
1. Undo the retaining bolts.2. Remove the plastic alternator/power assisted steering pump guard.
- Undo the upper alternator fixing bolt and loosen the lower fixing bolt, then rotate it downwards.1. Undo the retaining bolts.2. Remove the alternator rear mounting bracket.
1. Disconnect the retaining band for the fluid supply pipe from the reservoir on the power assisted steering pump.2. Undo the connector on the power assisted steering pump supplying pressurized fluid to the power assisted steering box.3. Undo the bolts fixing the pump to the support.4. Remove the power assisted steering pump.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit the power assisted steering pump in the housing on the support.- Tighten the bolts fixing thepower assisted steering pump to the support to torque.

- Connect the retaining band for the fluid supply pipe from the reservoir on the power assisted steering pump.- Tighten the connector on the power assisted steering pump supplying pressurized fluid to the power assisted steering box.- Fit the alternator rear bracket and tighten the bolts fixing it to the crankcase to torque.- Position the alternator and fasten it using the fixing bolts.
