 | Avoid rapid recharging at all costs. In order to recharge the battery correctly it is necessary to use a battery charger recommended by the Service Department (e.g. ISEAT CB1): these battery chargers operate at a "constant voltage" and recognize the condition of the battery and automatically determine the best recharging cycle; in this way the battery can be almost 100% recharged |
 | Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before recharging. Never touch the battery terminals with your hands whilst recharging and keep naked flames away from the battery. Only operate the battery charger after connecting the leads to the battery. |
| If the no load battery voltage measured is less than 12.10 V, then recharging is not advisable and the battery should be replaced (see op. 5530B10) |
