The vehicle is equiped with two reversing lights located at the rear in the centre (on the boot). These are operated whenever reverse is engaged via a switch on the outside of the gear housing. The circuit for the reversing lights is supplied with the key-on (INT) and is protected by a special fuse in the junction unit under the dashboard. The signal that the reversing light has come on is managed by the Body Computer which sends this information to the roof control unit to activate the interior mirror electro-chromic function. This produces maximum visibility because the mirror is completely cleared. The roof control unit also supplies and inhibits the obscuring of the interior mirror; the latter, in turn, directly manages the obscuring of the exterior mirrors. See E3032 DOOR MIRROR ADJUSTMENTThe info-telematic control unit receives the information that reverse gear is engaged via the CAN for the navigation function Wiring diagram E4090. See E4090 NAVIGATOR
