841008861 - E6020 AIR CONDITIONING Operational Description
Operational Description
The climate control unit M070 receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT) at pin 10 of connector A from the line protected by fuse F49 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002 and receives a direct supply at pin 16 of connector D from the line protected by fuse F39.The luggage compartment control unit M063 manages the lighting of the air vents at pins:
11 connector D lighting for driver's side G047 and passenger side G048 and passenger side G050;
14 connector E lighting for rear centre vent G044, lighting for vent in left pillar G057 and right pillar G058.
The driver's door control unit M066 acquires the outside temperature signal from the left exterior rear view mirror P060, via the C-CAN and sends it via the B-CAN to the climate control system control unit M070. The outside temperature is shown on the info-telematic control unti M065 display.The climate control system control unit M070 communicates its information to the front panel from pin 4 of connector A. (Wiring Diagram ) E4091 CONNECTWhilst the messages to the rear panel are displayed directly on the display for the console/centre bridge coupling D048.The signal for the activation of the linear sensor (for the climate control) K120 is sent to the engine management control unit M010 at pin 60 connector A. (Wiring Diagram ) E5020 ENGINE COOLING (Wiring Diagram ) E5050 DIESEL ENGINE ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENTVia the B-CAN, the climate control sytsem control unit M070 acquires information concerning the engagement of the additional heating system, at pins 5 and 16, connector B and manages the operation at pin 1 and 9 of connector A and pin 6 of connector B (Wiring Diagram ) E6015 ADDITIONAL HEATERThe exhaust gas presence sensor K064 receives an INT/A supply protected by line F31 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002 and sends a signal to the climate control system control unit M070 at pin 8 of connector B to activate the central closure of the windows (Wiring Diagram ) E3050 FRONT ELECTRIC WINDOWS (Wiring Diagram ) E3051 ELECTRIC REAR WINDOWS (Wiring Diagram ) E3060 SUN ROOFThe (brushless) passenger compartment fan N085 is operated by the climate control system control unit M070 at pin 18, connector B and pin 16 , connector C and receives a direct supply protected by line F5 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 and also receives a signal from the solar cells A050.Pin 14, connector C of the climate control system control unit is dedicated to fault diagnosis < R1 > , whilst pin 12 implements the internal strategy for the evaporator temperature sensor (frost) (Wiring Diagram ) E8010 MULTIPLE DIAGNOSTIC CONNECTORThe climate control system control unit M070 controls the air ventilation at pins:
15 and 6, connector C for the left upper air distribution temperature sensor K112 and the right one K110, respectively;
8 and 11, connector C for the left upper lower distribution temperature sensor K113 and the right one K111, respectively;
It also commands the solar sensor K090, from pins 10 and 13, connector C and pin 2, connector B, respectively for the signals for the left solar sensor input, the right solar sensor input and the reference voltage. The climate control system control unit M070 commands the coils for relays R8 and R7 of the engine compartment junction unit B001, from pins 13 and 5 of connector D, for the additional heater device PTC1 and PTC2, respectively.The control unit M070 implements the commands for all the actuators for the entire passenger compartment air conditioning system at pins:
2, 7 connector A, 4 connector C for the right defrost air distribution actuator N110;
2, 11 connector D, 3 connector C for the left defrost air distribution actuator N111;
14, 12 connector D, 10 connector B for the left defrost air distribution actuator N113;
8, 15 connector D, 1 connector C for the right defrost air distribution actuator N112;
3, 4 connector D, 5 connector C for the left air mixture flap actuator N078;
6, 7 connector D, 2 connector C for the right air mixture flap actuator N079;
1, 13 connector B, 9 connector C for the outside air/recirculation intake flap actuator N082.
Whilst pin 3 connector B and pin 9 connector D are dedicated to the potentiometer reference voltage and sensor return earth, respectively.The diffused air system is controlled by the climate control system control nit M070 at pins:
6, 11 connector A, 7 connector C for the right diffused air control actuator N105;
11, 20 connector B, 5 connector A for the left diffused air control actuator N106;
9 and 19 connector B for H098.
The additional heater resistance O025 is supplied by two different relays, R07 and R08, both located in the engine compartment junction unit B001.
