505851 - 1028H54 Piston and connecting rod - Separation at the bench

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Remove the piston rings.2. Release the pin (2a) and separate the connecting rod (2b) from the piston (2c). Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Join the connecting rod to the piston so that the arrow (1a) stamped on the piston crown is facing the direction shown in the diagram in relation to the lubrication port (1b) in the side of the connecting rod.- Fit the pin and secure it using the circlips.
