Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.    See in Op. 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R.1. Undo the fixing bolts.2. Remove the brake caliper.3. Disconnect the electrical connection for the brake pad wear sensor.

4. Remove the front brake pads (4a) releasing them from the fastening springs (4b).5. Undo the bolts (5a) and remove the front disc brake caliper brackets (5b).
Refitting ( Removing )
Visually inspect the bracket boots and if they are cracked or show obvious signs of wear, replace the brake caliper bracket.
- Fit the brake caliper bracket and tighten the fixing bolts.
Each time the brake pads are removed it is advisable to replace the retaining springs as well.
- Fit the front brake pads on the brake caliper bracket securing them using the springs.- Connect the electrical connection for the brake pad wear sensor.

- Compress the front brake caliper piston, using a suitable tool, to facilitate the fitting of the caliper.

- Fit the front brake caliper complete with flexible pipe.- Tighten the bolts fixing the brake caliper to the bracket.    See in Op. 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
